Our team of innovators, operators, and creators bring decades of combined experience across hospitality, events, culinary arts, marketing, finance, and venue operations. With more than 170 full-time employees and 300+ part-time support staff, we’re united by our values of togetherness, passion, and adaptability - delivering over 2,000 unforgettable weddings and events every year.

Our Executive Team
Angus was appointed Group Chief Executive in 2013, he has led the development of Artemis’ business model, pioneering new opportunities and securing the funding needed to launch new venues and services.
Today, as Executive Chairman, Angus focuses on steering the long-term direction of Artemis. He works closely with fellow board members and partners to shape the future of the business, forging new strategic relationships and investment opportunities. Prior to joining Artemis, Angus worked in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse in London and New York, specialising in capital markets and M&A. He holds a first-class degree in Business from Edinburgh University and a diploma in Popular Music Performance — a reminder of his creative streak.
Stuart joined Artemis in 2013 and has been instrumental in developing and implementing the brand and guest experience strategy across the entire venue portfolio. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Executive, taking the lead on group strategy, service delivery, and financial performance across all divisions.
With more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations, Stuart has transformed brands and businesses across retail, advertising, and digital sectors. He has consulted for leading UK retailers including John Lewis, Shop Direct Group, and Matalan, bringing a wealth of insight into consumer behaviour and brand growth.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Stuart became a founding director of the Wedding Venue Support Group and chaired the UK Weddings Taskforce’s Pandemic Response Working Group, leading national sector engagement with the Government to protect jobs and businesses. His ability to navigate complex challenges underlines his commitment to the future of the weddings and events industry.
Simon is a hospitality entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for food and drink. At 19, he became the UK’s youngest licensee, opening two wine and beer retail units in South London. Over the following decade, he built a wholesale drinks delivery business, opened an independent Oxford pub/bistro, and launched a successful outside catering business in SW17.
In 2004, Simon sold the business to Artemis and became Managing Director of its newly formed catering division. Since then, he has recruited and led a talented team of culinary professionals, elevating Artemis’ reputation for exceptional dining experiences. Today, Simon oversees the development of estate operations, ensuring every Artemis venue delivers world-class food, drink, and service.
Chris is a chartered accountant with over two decades of financial leadership experience across multiple industries. He qualified with PwC in 2002 and went on to hold senior finance roles at Northern Foods plc and Regatta Ltd, where he honed his expertise in profit improvement, mergers and acquisitions, systems implementation, and international expansion.
Chris joined Artemis in 2021, bringing a strong focus on building a resilient finance function that supports the group’s rapid growth. He oversees financial strategy, investment planning, and risk management, ensuring Artemis is well positioned for sustainable expansion and its planned management buyout.
Lyndsay is passionate about putting people at the heart of business strategy. After starting her HR career in retail with Iceland Foods, she advanced into a global HR role with Swarovski before joining Casual Dining Group to help roll out a HR Business Partner model for Bella Italia. Most recently, she was Head of People for private equity-backed The Alchemist Bar and Restaurant Group, where she created a full HR function and employee value proposition from scratch.
Joining Artemis in 2023, Lyndsay has been pivotal in streamlining people processes and embedding a culture where employee experience comes first. Known for her pragmatic and commercially balanced approach, she ensures Artemis remains a place where talent thrives, collaboration flourishes, and teams feel supported every step of the way.
