Our experienced team supports our network of wedding venues with sales, marketing, finance, IT and administration. Operating as a powerful, centralised support hub, we offer unrivalled levels of resource, insight and depth of expertise.
Our data-driven, client-focused marketing team generated over 60,000 new leads in 2021. Our sales team converted leads into over 2,500 bookings. Artemis has developed an extremely effective customer journey and sales funnel, supported by advanced CRM and a knowledgeable team of venue experts.
Our in-house finance and IT teams ensure that our venues are supported with the best systems and key information, which are integral to successful management.

Our Operations Teams
Artemis employs a team of dedicated hospitality and event professionals at each site, supported by our central kitchens, bars, operations and head office teams.
Artemis delivers exceptional food, drink and service consistently across all venues. We ensure that each Artemis-managed venue meets these exacting standards.
All aspects of venue management are included, from recruitment to health and safety, business support and training.
We employ over 500 staff across the country, from our head office team to our central operations and dedicated teams on the ground at every venue.
1996
Artemis started life as Country House Wedding Venues, founded by Diana Hastie, and soon became recognised for its impressive collection of exclusive use venues which drew attention for transformative management practices and unrivaled presentation.
Curradine Barns, a 19th-century red brick venue in Worcestershire, becomes the first wedding venue to be acquired by Artemis. Having breathed new life into this traditional barn venue, Artemis has seen impressive growth in bookings and continued appreciation for this premier vicinity.
2012
2019
A year of notable growth, as Artemis embarks on joint ventures with three new wedding venues: Old Palace Chester, Pelham House in East Sussex and Syrencot in Wiltshire. These collaborations saw impressive improvements in productivity and profitability for all three venues.
In the same year, Artemis acquires The Pear Tree in Wiltshire, a quintessential English country house situated close to the Cotswolds. This Artemis-owned wedding venue now blends historic architecture with modern amenities and world-class food, drink and service.
2019
2021
The historic and grandiose Combermere Abbey becomes an Artemis leasehold venue. Having supported this venue since 2017, Artemis expanded support to include operational management, sales and marketing, and day-to-day management in August 2021.
Brookfield Barn, a unique, lakeside barn venue set in the heart of the Sussex countryside, is acquired by Artemis. Plans to transform this beautifully situated wedding venue into a luxurious waterside haven are already well underway.

2024
Artemis strengthens its portfolio with a new partnership with a historic estate in Herefordshire. Artemis agreed a long-term lease on Crumplebury, a spectacular exclusive-use property on the renowned Whitbourne Estate, in Whitbourne.
