We’re delighted to announce that @sandholeoakbarnweddings is joining the Artemis family! 💫

Since 2005, this stunning lakeside barn venue in Cheshire has been hosting incredible weddings, becoming a staple of the Cheshire community. Built with love and care by the Worth family, it has become one of the region’s most highly regarded venues.

This partnership is particularly special to us, as Artemis has had a long-standing relationship with Sandhole Oak Barn for many years. In fact, it was our founder, Diana Hastie, who advised the Worth family to build the Oak Barn back in 2003! We are honoured to now be entrusted with its future, continuing its incredible legacy.

Now, under Artemis's management, Sandhole Oak Barn will continue to offer unforgettable weddings while also expanding into private and corporate events. From 2026, we’ll be bringing our in-house catering expertise to enhance the exceptional food, drink, and service that couples and guests experience.

A huge thank you to the Worth family for their dedication and passion over the past two decades. We look forward to working closely with the venue’s fantastic team to ensure Sandhole thrives for many more years to come. 🧡

What an amazing time we had at our fam trip to The Pear Tree last week!

🥘 We started with homemade curries cooked by our chefs

🗺️ Followed by a competitive groups activity touring the venue’s grounds hosted by @acfteambuilding

🍷 The evening kick-started with Wine Bingo

🍴 Before we tucked in to a 3-course dinner with surprise lemon meringue course served on a platter with dry ice

⏱️ Ending on a high-note with the evening activity- Master of Tasks hosted by @goto_events

Artemis Master Chef Team of the Year 2025!

After an intense and exciting final at the stunning
Syrencot, where teams created two incredible
courses from a mystery box of ingredients, we are
thrilled to announce this year’s winners:
Tom Francis from Crumplebury and Matthew
Thomson from Curradine Barns 🏆

Their creativity, skill, and ability to adapt under
pressure truly wowed the judges, led by Group
Executive Head Chef Andrew Gotting, and secured
their place as this year’s champions.

This competition has been about so much more
than the dishes—it’s been a celebration of:

Togetherness: Bringing chefs from all our venues
together to learn, share, and grow.

Passion: Showcasing creativity, technique, and
flair.

Adaptability: Rising to challenges and creating
magic under pressure.

Last week, seven members of the Artemis Team were invited to visit two of the oldest and most well known wineries in Rioja.

Invited and hosted by Natalia at @cvnevino Jen at @hatchmansfield & Max from @matthewclarkltd , we explored the Contino & Vina Real wineries taking in their incredible history, pioneering methods and award wining produce. A huge thank you to our hosts for a once in a lifetime experience.

Alongside the board, Angus will oversee the strategic direction of the business, and foster new partnerships & funding relationships. Angus shares: “Stuart has demonstrated huge energy, commitment, vision, and effectiveness. I’m excited to focus on building value, supporting Stuart, the board, and our executive directors.”

In 2023, we sold a remarkable 110,000 pizzas! 🍕 In fact, our delicious wood-fired pizza took centre stage, claiming a whopping 76% share of our evening food sales, with Pepperoni being the favourite topping of choice.

We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with a historic family estate in Herefordshire.

One of the most impressive wedding and events venues in the region, @crumplebury sits at the heart of the 1,500-acre Whitbourne Estate in Whitbourne.

With spectacular weddings featured in Vogue and national press including National Geographic and Condé Nast Traveler, prestige automotive marques like Volvo have long chosen Crumplebury as the world-class venue for their launches.

This long-term partnership will see us running their weddings and events business, encompassing breathtaking indoor and outdoor spaces, 11 luxurious bedrooms and a Victorian estate cottage.

As part of the new agreement, we will be investing in some exciting changes to the multi-million development, built in 2019 by the Evans family.

These will strengthen the venue’s position in the market, and enhance its reputation as one of the most glamorous and sustainable wedding and events venues in the region.

We’re thrilled to welcome Crumplebury to our portfolio of 14, making us the largest exclusive use wedding and events venue management group in the UK.

Huge thanks to Angus Hastie and Stuart Owens who brokered the deal.

Artemis Master Chef 2024 | The final

Yesterday marked the epic showdown of culinary prowess as The Pear Tree and Mythe Barn came head-to-head in the Artemis Master Chef 2024 Final. Taking on a timed mystery box challenge, both teams showcased their culinary finesse, meticulously planning a 2-course meal for two in just 15 minutes once the box revealed its contents.

The teams unleashed their creativity in a heated 2-hour cook-off, leaving the kitchen buzzing with an inspiring atmosphere. Watching these talented chefs at work was a fantastic experience, shedding light on the depth of knowledge and unwavering dedication within our talented teams.

The 2-hour cook time concluded with anticipation as the judges deliberated, ultimately leading to the announcement of the well-deserved winners - Andy & Nobby from @thepeartreepurton ! Huge congratulations to them for their exceptional performance. A massive round of applause is also in order for the runners-up, Warren & Dave from @mythebarnweddings , and all the incredibly talented chefs who participated in the 2024 competition.
