Why we’re raising the bar
Until now, our cocktail offering has focused primarily on beautifully presented reception drinks served earlier in the day. With the addition of our made-to-order cocktail menu, we’re giving guests something truly memorable to enjoy throughout the day.
These cocktails are not pre-batched or poured behind the scenes. They’re handcrafted on the spot, shaken and stirred in full view of guests by our expert bar team. It’s a personal, interactive experience that adds energy and flair to your evening celebration and looks just as good as it tastes.
Training our team in the art of mixology
To bring this new cocktail experience to life, we knew it had to be delivered with the same high standards and attention to detail that define every Artemis event. That’s why we brought together our bar managers from across the country for a dedicated training day at The Pear Tree. The venue’s incredible Bartlett Bar made a showstopping setting for the training to take place.
We were proud to partner with Pernod Ricard, who led an intensive session on cocktail techniques, presentation, and flavour balancing. This hands-on training gave our teams the skills and confidence to deliver a polished, professional experience behind the bar.
To make this learning sustainable, we also filmed training videos during the day, creating a valuable resource that our teams can refer back to at any time. These videos are now being used by our bar managers to train their wider teams on-site, ensuring consistency and excellence across every Artemis venue.
For us, this isn’t just about adding a few new drinks to the menu. It’s about creating a drink experience that feels as well-considered, elevated, and expertly delivered as everything else we do.
Mocktails that aren’t just an afterthought
Alcohol-free options are a vital part of a modern bar experience. In fact, elevated alcohol-free options are one of the biggest drink trends of 2025, with more couples choosing to include sophisticated mocktails as part of their wedding celebrations (Brides, 2025).
As attitudes around alcohol shift, many guests now expect something more considered than a soda or juice. Whether guests are sober, pregnant, driving, or simply embracing a more mindful relationship with drinking, the demand for beautifully crafted, zero-alcohol alternatives is only growing. According to The Guardian, non-drinkers are now influencing the drinking habits of entire social groups, and the rise of moderation means even those who do enjoy a drink are mixing it up with non-alcoholic options.
